"MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR THE LACK OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE lORD"

HOSEA 4:1-10-

1-HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

2- By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

 3- Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

4- Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.

5- Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.

6- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

7- As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

8- They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.

 9- And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

10- For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the Lord.

"WHEN GOD SHOWS MERCY - THEN THE TIME COMES WHEN HE MUST TURN AND SHOW HIS WRATH FOR, THEY HAVE GONE ASTRAY AND HAVE NOT TURNED FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS!"

Jeremiah 16 - King James Version (KJV)
1 The word of the Lord came also unto me, saying,
2 Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
3 For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
5 For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies.
6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
8 Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
9 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lordpronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
15 But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.
19 O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord.

"ABOUT CURSING (CUSSING)"

22- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  23- Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. ~ Galations 5:22-23

1- My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

 3- Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

4- Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

5- Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6- And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7- For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8- But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

 9- Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10- Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11- Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12- Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13- Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

14- But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15- This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16- For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

17- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

18- And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.  ~ James 3:1-1

My Notes:

Beloved, The Lord showed me a "vision" this morning.  I saw sweet and bitter water pouring out of a cup.  They were flowing side by side, yet, not touching.  The Lord said to me "This is how "CURSING" and "GOOD WORDS" look like.  I felt to look up  the FRUITS of the Spirit.  There I saw:

Galations 5:22-23:

 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

(Cussing is NOT there!)   Cussing, or cursing is certainly, the "bitter" water.  A gesture that leads to evil. - not of God. There are many things that people can DO, that leads to evil!

Above, in James 3:1-18, It speaks of the "bitter" and "sweet" water, and how the "mouth" is untamed... It speaks highly of mistakes and errors that OFFEND many, and "cause discord" among the people.  The man that "bridleth" his tongue and whole body will not OFFEND in any way, the gospel.  The Bible speaks that is almost impossible...  But I urge you,  There are SOME things that we CAN do:  Stop CUSSING, (or cursing)!  Cursing usually sends us into a RAGE!  We then can do even more damage - Read James 3:1-18 for more.  THE "VISION THAT THE LORD SHOWED ME THIS MORNING,  showed me - "this is not of God.."  It is "bitter" water.  it encourages "other" miss-behavior.  In James chapter 3, it says that "bitter waters" are of the devil, to "provoke," and from the "earthly realm."  It is not of the "Spiritual realm" where God lives./ James chapter 3.
